Welcome and thank-you for your interest in Hartford Anesthesiology Associates.
Founded in 1963 by physicians with a unique sense of foresight and dedication, Hartford Anesthesiology Associates (HAA) implemented and retains its shared vision of an independent anesthesia practice focused upon the safest, most efficient and cost-effective mechanisms for providing anesthesia services. HAA’s staff fully recognizes our roles and responsibilities within the healthcare systems in which we work. Equally important are our distinctive accountabilities for providing an environment where the training/education of physician anesthesiology residents and student registered nurse anesthetists (SRNA’s) assures that future generations of anesthesiology providers are unsurpassed in medical capabilities and professional ideals.
HAA’s Anesthesiologists and Certified Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA’s) retain a long track record of patient safety, excellent patient care outcomes and innovation that is consistent with our mission and goals. Comprised of 71 full-time Board Certified/Eligible anesthesiologists, 26 full-time CRNA’s, plus part-time physicians and CRNA’s, HAA’s anesthesiology staff is currently 152 members and growing. The span of anesthesiology services provided by HAA includes:
- Surgical (every subspecialty represented)
- Labor and Delivery
- Critical Care
- Full services in Pediatric and Neonatal anesthesia
- Pain Management
- Ambulatory anesthesia
Dedicated to building healthy relationships with our customers by providing excellent patient care combined with efficient and friendly service, HAA continues to grow. Services delivery sites include Hartford Hospital, Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, University of Connecticut Health Center and eight (8) single-specialty and multi-specialty ambulatory surgery centers. HAA’s presence and professional influence embraces on-going performance improvement so that a combination of the best outcomes is merged with maximum value from the OR’s in which our services are provided. Our administrative staff is comprised of a group of high quality professionals who ensure accurate scheduling, ongoing quality improvement and full compliance with all necessary regulations.
